“A deep, vast interest in human nature and the challenging prospect of exploring human behaviour through the window of love….This is what inspires and enthuses action in me. From a young age I would watch people, taking mental notes. I would investigate the ways and reasons behind every human act, ways and reasons for us to become happier. Because above all, I believe that every human existence can experience this integral, transcendental, bliss…”

"Positive. Deep thinker. Cautious. Rational. Perfectionist. Loyal. Exist entirely in my own universe. Love searching for order amidst absolute chaos. Need to do things in my own time and way. Have no interest in competition. Dislike: Discrimination, expectations, swearing, cruelty to animals and raisins. Tree Hugger. Love challenges. Opinionated. Question everything. LOVE TO LIVE."

Nathalie Kyrou

Picture
With over fifteen years of experience in painting and photography, and an extensive background in the arts, Nathalie Kyrou has a natural eye for the visual image and a creative flair.

Nathalie discovered her love for art at a very young age, following it intensely throughout her education. She continued to explore her talent at the University of London, discovering new ways of expressing herself artistically using a vast array of mediums, such as graphic design, digital art and installation. She never ceased to paint, from the time she lived in the U.K. to afterwards when she moved to Canada to follow her career as a television producer, director and video journalist.

In 1998, Nathalie’s work was selected as the sole representative of the U.K. in the Transimages International Symposium in Italy and Germany. Since returning to Cyprus, her art work has been selected from a multitude of international submissions in the ‘Rolling Frame’ competition (June 2008) and she was invited to participate in the 'Artists' Book Project', a group art exhibition (Nov-Dec 2008). Nathalie's solo painting exhibitions, 'Breathing Colours' (Nov 2008) and 'Spatal'eau' (June 2009), were both opened in Cyprus by the Mayor of Limassol, and proved to be a great success. Nathalie hopes to continue to create work for good causes and to raise money for environmental, philanthropic and humanitarian organisations. She is currently working on several future artistic projects, including another art exhibition on the theme of dance and movement, and a photography exhibition.
Nathalie also teaches creative art classes to kids and adults. For more info or to contact Nathalie please visit www.kyrou.com
